Fed: More protests greet PM

More than 200 activists protesting on issues varying from gun laws to legalised marijuana
and the GST have jeered and cat called Prime Minister JOHN HOWARD outside the Lismore
City Hall.

As Mr HOWARD was leaving the building the crowd, which had swelled to well over 300,
rushed at his car.

However, the prime minister has escaped unscathed with police manhandling a few protestors,
placing one in a police wagon.
